Rebate Centre
This is a WIN/WIN situation for small businesses and your children.
As we all know, ‘fundraising’ is a necessary part of any not-for-profit agency and Walden Day Care is no exception.Recently, we have been negotiating a rebate plan with some small businesses that are either locally owned or are owned by parents of Walden Day Care Centre.
It works like this…
Walden Day Care provides care to almost 600 families within the area. As well, there are a number of small businesses in this area who find that advertising can consume a large part of an operating budget. With that in mind, WDCC has agreed to inform our families of these businesses in exchange for a percentage of what our families spend at these businesses. The process would be as follows… below is a list of the businesses that are interested in this arrangement. Parents interested in taking advantage of this offer would come to our office and receive identification to present to these businesses. The next time that your family did business at that location, you would show that ID and a percentage of your total bill would be forwarded to the daycare at months’ end.
For Example…
BACK IN ACTION Auto Service, owned by parents of the daycare, have offered the daycare a 2% rebate, whereby we will receive 2% of the total bill of every vehicle repaired that presents the ID from the daycare. This offer is ongoing and the daycare will benefit from every subsequent visit that parents make to BACK IN ACTION. The same shop rate is charged and there is no additional cost to parents to take part in this program.
