Preschool
Early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploration and discovery.
Preschool children are creative and receptive.
Our staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children that attend.
We also believe that programs experienced by these young children should resemble a family situation as much as possible.
It is for this reason the physical layout of our preschool area allows for children 2-3 years to play and learn together as they would at home.
Our concept setting encourages a free flowing feeling between play areas.
Each area provides unique opportunities in learning from active cooperative play to quiet solitude.
Specific times throughout the day are available for similarly aged children to gather with their designated educator to engage in age appropriate activities. (i.e. circle time, creative activities, etc...)
Our lunch set up falls in line with the family philosophy.
Children and educators sit together in small groups, allowing the children the independence of serving themselves, while chatting with others.
When your child arrives at the day care a warm greeting is extended and a choice of the various learning activities and interest centres are available. Activities are changed from week to week, day to day, and sometimes from hour to hour.
