In the fall of 2006 Walden Day Care and Walden Public School entered into a partnership that has proven to be very successful.
The location of this program enables us the ability to access some public facilities, for example, story hour at the library, nature walks, and visits to the Sixth Avenue Park.
This child care experience offers a seamless day for the children attending. Our doors open at 6:00 am and close at 6:00 pm.
The before and after school program is designed to provide comfortable and fun surroundings in a safe environment. It is jam packed with exciting activities created by qualified educators.
The before school program runs from 6:00 am – 8:45 am, after school from at 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm. We also provide full day care on PA days and all school holidays.
This is a structured program where the children choose which age appropriate activities to participate in. We spend time in the gymnasium, library, and the playground.
There is always an area and time available for homework to get done before home time. Healthy morning and afternoon snacks are provided, and on P.A. days, and school holidays, a nutritious hot lunch is served.
