School Readiness
The School Readiness program is designed to help prepare your child with the skills necessary to be successful in their JK year.
We concentrate on the recognition of colours, shapes, names and numbers.
We also introduce them to letter sound through the Jolly Phonics program which is used in many schools.
Fine motor skills such as cutting with scissors and printing are practiced on a daily basis.
Concepts such as time (days of the week, months of the year) and theme based curriculum are also explored daily.
This is incorporated into fun learning experiences planned carefully by an experienced and registered Early Childhood Educator.
The children learn by discovering and exploring their environment and are guided with individual attention as our legislation ensures one educator to every eight children.
We provide an exceptional environment in which your child can acquire the proficiency necessary to flourish in Junior Kindergarten.
